Educational Qualification:

For the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Essential: A Master’s degree in Plant Pathology, Virology, Molecular Biology, or Biotechnology, with a minimum of 4/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. Alternatively, candidates with a post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences, along with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree, should have NET/GATE qualifications and 2 years of research experience, as per the specified guidelines.
• Desirable: NET/GATE qualification and research experience in Plant Virology, Virus Diagnostics, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, with knowledge of bioinformatics. Preference will be given to candidates with high-quality publications in SCI journals.

Age Limit:

• The maximum age limit for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) is 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

Salary Details:

• The selected Senior Research Fellow (SRF) will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 31,000 per month, along with HRA.

Selection Process:
