Eligibility Criteria:
1. Research Associate:
- Essential: Ph.D. or 3 years of Research, Teaching, and Design & Development experience after M.E./M.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering/Computer/Electronics & Communication/IT with a minimum of 4 years of bachelor’s degree having 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average and at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
- Desirable: Expertise in Aquaponics/Hydroponics/Sensor/Automation/Computer/IoT/Protected or Precision Agriculture; Experience in preparation of project reports and other documents, SOEs, UCs, Project Support of ICAR Institutes and Assistance to Institute in administration/financial aspects; Experience in Computer Applications for office & scientific purposes like MS Office, database applications, use of the Internet and statistical software.
2. Semi Skilled Worker:
- Essential: 12th pass from a recognized Board
- Desirable: ITI & Experience in field & instrument operations related to agriculture
Age Limit:
- Research Associate – Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women
- Semi Skilled Worker – Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women
Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. rules. Refer to the IARI official Notification 2024 for more reference.
Salary Details:
- Research Associate – Rs. 54,000/- + HRA@27%
- Semi Skilled Worker – Rs. 15,000/- Consolidated
Selection Process:
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for an online/offline interview, and interview letters/links for the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates via the email provided in their application form.
- The date, time, and mode of the interview (offline/online) will be informed through email only on their given email address.
