IDBI Bank Junior Assistant Manager (Grade ‘O’) Vacancy Information:
IDBI Bank is inviting applications for the following positions:
Position: Junior Assistant Manager (Grade “O”) Number of Vacancies: 600
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India. Completion of a diploma course alone will not be considered as meeting the eligibility criteria.
- Proficiency in computers is expected.
- Proficiency in the regional language is preferred.
Age Limit: (As of 31.08.2023)
- Junior Assistant Manager (Grade “O”): Minimum age – 20 years, Maximum age – 25 years (Candidates must have been born between 31.08.1998 and 31.08.2003, both dates inclusive)
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD, 13 years for OBC PWD), and as per Government of India rules for Ex-Servicemen.
Emoluments:
- During the Training Period (6 Months): Rs. 5,000/- per month
- During the Internship Period (2 Months): Rs. 15,000/- per month
- After joining the Bank’s services as Junior Assistant Manager – JAM (Grade ‘O’) and upon successful completion of the PGDBF course, compensation (CTC) will range between Rs. 6.14 lakh to Rs. 6.50 lakh (for Class A city) at the time of joining.
- Grade ‘O’ officers shall be eligible for TA/HA, local conveyance, subsidized lunch facility, and Visiting Officer Facility in line with facilities/limits applicable to Grade ‘A’ officers of the Bank.
- Other allowances, performance-linked variable pay, staff loans, perquisites, benefits, and facilities applicable to other full-time Bank employees will not be admissible.
- Annual increment will be granted based on performance or other parameters as decided by the Bank.
- Grade ‘O’ officers may be considered for promotion to Grade ‘A’ after completing 3 years of service, subject to performance and Bank norms.
Programme Fees:
- The course fee for this program is Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakh only) plus GST, as applicable. It should be paid by students in installments as per a fixed schedule during the 1-year program. This fee includes course fees, lodging, boarding, and other fees.
- Additionally, candidates are responsible for the exam fees for various Certification exams mandated under the course.
Reimbursement of Course Fees:
- As per current Bank guidelines, the course fee will be reimbursed as a deferred payment in five annual installments starting after completing 3 years of service and upon confirmation in Bank’s services, subject to satisfactory performance appraisal ratings.
Selection Process: The selection process for IDBI Bank Junior Assistant Manager (Grade ‘O’) includes:
- Online Test
- Personal Interview
Exam Centers in Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode, Madurai, Nagercoil/Kanyakumari, Salem, Thanjavur, Thiruchirapalli, Tirunelvelli, Vellore, Virudhunagar
Application Fee/Exam Fee:
- SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 200 (Intimation charges only)
- For all others: Rs. 1000 (Application fee + Intimation charges)
- The application fee must be paid online.
