ICFRE- IFB LDC & MTS Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Lower Division Clerk:
(i) Must have completed 12th class from a recognized board.
(ii) Should have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English OR 25 words per minute in Hindi on a manual typewriter, or a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.
- Multi Tasking Staff:
Essential qualification: Must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board/school.
Desirable: Possession of 3 years or more experience in Gardening, Electrical Services, Cleaning Services, Vehicle Mechanics, Plumbing, Security duty, or Handling office equipment.
Age Limit: (As on 31.07.2023)
- Lower Division Clerk: Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 27 years.
- Multi Tasking Staff: Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 27 years.
The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and for Ex-Servicemen as per the Government of India rules. Candidates will be provided relaxation in the upper age limit as per Government rules. For more details, refer to the official notification of ICFRE-IFB 2023.
Salary Details:
- Lower Division Clerk: Rs. 19,900-63,200/-
- Multi-Tasking Staff: Rs. 18,000-56,900/-
ICFRE- IFB LDC & MTS Selection Process 2023:
(i) Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit of the written examination, subject to minimum qualifying marks. The Institute’s decision on short-listing will be final, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Skill tests, typing proficiency tests, etc., for the relevant posts will be qualifying in nature. If a candidate fails to qualify the skill test, even if they are in the merit list based on the written examination, they will not be selected for the post.
(ii) Candidates shortlisted for the skill/proficiency test must produce original and self-attested photocopies of their certificates related to age proof, caste, educational qualifications, EWS certificates, etc., at the time of the skill/proficiency test. If a certificate is in a local vernacular language, it must be accompanied by an English translation duly attested by a Notary/Gazetted Officer. All eligibility certificates must be issued by the competent authorities before the closing date of application.
(iii) Tie-Breaker Rules: In the event of two or more candidates securing equal aggregate marks in the written examination, the merit of the candidates will be determined by applying the following Tie-Breaker Rules in order, until the tie is resolved:
- Date of Birth, with the older candidate placed higher.
- Alphabetical order based on the first names of the candidates.
Application Fee/Exam Fee for ICFRE- IFB LDC & MTS:
A non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only), drawn from any nationalized bank in favor of the “Director, Institute of Forest Biodiversity” payable at Hyderabad, should be enclosed along with the application. No other mode of payment for the application fee is acceptable. However, SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee as per Government of India guidelines.
