IIM Trichy Non-Teaching Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. IT Support Engineer (Network & Security)

• B.Tech/BE in Electronics/ECE/CSE/IT or MCA on a regular basis with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, including at least three years at the L3 level. (OR)
  • Three years polytechnic Diploma in Electronics/ECE/CSE/IT, BSc Computer Science, BSc Computer Science, or BCA with 8 years of experience, including at least five years at L3 level.Experience in software development is desirable.Certifications: CCNP/BCNE/Fortinet NSE Level 4 or higher (Mandatory) and RHCE/MCSE (Preferable)
  • Certification is not essential for those with 3+ years of L3 Level hands-on experience in the network and security domain directly from the following industries/organizations:

• Experience from OEMs of major network and security products (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Paloalto, Check Point, Extreme Network & Radware) orExperience from any Network and Security MNCs (Multi-National System Integrators) like Dimensions data, IBM, AT & T, Verizon, Wipro, HCL, etc.Note: The employee should be a direct employee of the mentioned companies.

• Junior Programmer

• B.E/B.Tech in IT/CSE/ECE/Electronics, M.Sc.(CS/IT/equivalent), or MCA with 3 years of experience. OR BCA/BSc(CS/IT) with 5 years’ experience.
  • Note: At least one-year experience in PHP and MySQL is Mandatory. Computer Science-related subjects like AI, Data Science, etc., will be considered equivalent.

• Hindi Supervisor

• A. Essential Qualifications

• Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level (50% marks); ORMaster’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level (50% marks); ORBachelor’s Degree of a recognized University (50% marks) with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects plus recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years post qualification experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices, including Government of India Undertakings.

• B. Experience

• Two years’ post-qualification experience of using/applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably technical or scientific literature under Central/State Governments/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations/PSUs/Universities or recognized research or educational institutions/organizations.OR Two years’ post-qualification experience of teaching in Hindi and English or research in Hindi or English under Central/State Governments/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations/PSUs/Universities or recognized research or educational institutions.

• C. Desirable

• Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa or three years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in any organization.Knowledge of Sanskrit or a modern Indian language.Administrative experience of organizing Hindi classes or workshops for noting and drafting.Knowledge of Computer Applications.

• Library Information Assistant

• Graduate in any discipline (10+2+3) with at least second class (50% marks).
  • Post-graduate degree in Library and Information Science with at least second class (50% marks) from a reputed University/Institute.
  • At least three years’ post-qualification working experience in handling library work in a reputed research/educational institute and proficiency in computer application in the management of RFID-based modern library on an automated, integrated, and networked environment.

Age Limit:

1. IT Support Engineer (Network & Security) – 45 years
2. Junior Programmer – 45 years
3. Hindi Supervisor – Less than 40 years.
4. Library Information Assistant – 35 years Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Government rules. Refer to the IIM Trichy official Notification 2023 for more details.

Salary Details:

1. IT Support Engineer (Network & Security) – Rs. 55,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- per month
2. Junior Programmer – Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 65,000/- per month
3. Hindi Supervisor – Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- per month
4. Library Information Assistant – Rs. 30,000/- per month

IIM Trichy Non-Teaching Selection Process 2023:

The selection will be made through a Written test/Skill test and Personal interview.
