Educational Qualification :

Library Clerk Posts: S.S.C must have typing speed 30 words per minute

Upper Division Clerk: A candidates have complete graduation in any degree recognized University desirable: preference for short hand course for English and Hindi

Sr. Library & Information Assistant: post graduate degree in science and arts and social science and commerce Degree in library science recognized University

Chief Administrative Officer:

( i) A Master’s degree with at least 55 marks (ii) At least 15 times of executive experience in university/ academic institution/ Government or Semi Government Institution/ Public Sector Industry or other applicable institution

Desirable Knowledge of Computer and functioning on -office in GOI as well as Knowledge on procurement, purchase of means, force operation as per GOI rules

Age limit IIPS Recruitment UDC and Library clerk post 2022:

Library Clerk Posts: not more than 30 years

Upper Division Clerk: not more than 27 years

Sr. Library & Information Assistant: not more than 35 years

Chief Administrative Officer: not more than 55 years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 times for SC/ ST; 3 times for OBC, 10 Times for Persons with Disabilities (15 times for SC/ ST PWD’s & 13 times for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-Service man as per Govt. of India rules.
