IISER TVM Non Teaching Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

1. Deputy Librarian:

• Essential: Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale. Eight years of experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian/Assistant Librarian of CFTIs/Autonomous Bodies with Pay Level 10 and above. Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in the library. A Ph.D. degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science/Archives and Manuscript Keeping/Computerization of Library.
• Assistant Registrar:
• Essential: Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the CGPA/UGC point scale from a recognized University/Institute. OR Employees serving as Superintendent (SG-I)/Private Secretary (NFG) in PB-2 with a GP of Rs. 5400/- with at least two years of regular service or Superintendent (SG-II)/Private Secretary (NFG) in PB-2 with a GP of Rs. 4800/- with at least five years of regular service with a Master’s degree. Desirable: Qualification in the area of Management/Engineering/Law. Experience of working in the E-Office system.
• Junior Engineer:
• Essential: First-class B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute with one-year experience in HVAC works in construction/maintenance of building projects, preferably in organizations/firms dealing with works as per CPWD/PWD/Govt. norms. OR First-class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution with three years of experience in HVAC works in construction/maintenance of building projects, preferably in organizations/firms dealing with works as per CPWD/PWD/Govt. norms.
• Nurse:
• Essential: Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized Institution. Three years of post-qualification experience in a hospital or dispensary.
• Junior Technical Assistant:
• Essential: Educational Qualification: First-class Bachelor’s Degree/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, IT, Computer Science from a recognized university/institution.

Experience: Three years of working experience, preferably from Scientific/R&D Organizations/PSUs/CFTIs/reputed private firms in the following areas: Software Installation, OS Installation, Firewall Management, BIOS Configuration, LAN configuration, IP Configuration, Lab Management, Server Maintenance, Network configuration and its essentials, Troubleshooting of PC and hardware devices. Experience in managing Public Address Systems (PAS).

• Attendant (Electrician) & Attendant (Plumber):
• Essential: ITI or equivalent pass from a recognized board or Institute in the relevant field as an electrician/wireman/plumber, etc., with 2 years of experience in the respective field.

Desirable: Experience in working with National Level Institutions/Academic and/or Research Institutions.

• Office Assistant (Multi Skilled):
• Essential: Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Three Years Diploma in Secretariat/Commercial Practice.

Experience: Three years of experience for degree holders and five years of experience for diploma holders. The experience should be as a clerk/assistant/equivalent post in areas of Office Administration/Establishment/Finance & Accounts/Stores & Purchase/Academic Administration from Semi Government/PSU/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations/Universities/Institutions of National Importance/Reputed Organizations under central/state governments/reputed firms. The experience should be in the computerized office environment with competence in computer application skills. Computer key depression speed equivalent to 45 WPM.

Desirable: Diploma in Computer Applications.

Age Limit: (As of 14.07.2023)

1. Deputy Librarian: 50 years
2. Assistant Registrar: 35 years
3. Junior Engineer: 30 years
4. Nurse: 35 years
5. Junior Technical Assistant: 32 years
6. Attendant (Electrician) & Attendant (Plumber): 38 years
7. Office Assistant (Multi Skilled): 30 years

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and for Ex-Servicemen as per the Govt. of India rules. Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Please refer to the official Notification 2023 of IISER TVM for more information.

Salary Details:

1. Deputy Librarian: Pay Level 12
2. Assistant Registrar: Level 10
3. Junior Engineer: Level 6
4. Nurse: Level 7
5. Junior Technical Assistant: Level 5
6. Attendant (Electrician) & Attendant (Plumber): Level 1
7. Office Assistant (Multi Skilled): Level 5

IISER TVM Non Teaching Selection Process 2023:

IISER TVM will follow the following process to select the candidates:

1. Written Test
2. Interview

Application Fee/Exam Fee for IISER TVM Non Teaching:

An application fee of Rs.1000/- is to be paid online. The application fee once remitted will not be reimbursed. However, the fee is exempted for SC/ST, PwD, Women, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

How to apply for IISER TVM Non Teaching Post:

Step-1: Register to create a User ID and Password for the online application on the Institute website. The online applications can be submitted until 17:00 Hrs on 05.07.2023.

Step-2: Fill out the online application form completely and submit it online. The online application consists of six stages. You can save the application at any stage before the final submission to edit/review any field. No changes are permissible after the final submission.

Step-3: After submitting the form, the payment gateway will open for the payment of the fee (INR 1000), which is not applicable for SC/ST/PwD/Women/Ex-servicemen candidates. Follow the instructions carefully for the payment of the fee. Without the payment of the fee, the application will not be accepted/considered.
