Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Principal Scientist:
(i) Principal Scientist (Cryo):
- Qualification: PhD with first class or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Cryo-EM, Single Particle Analysis, Cryo-Electron Tomography (Cryo-ET), and sample preparation/analysis. Experience in training Ph.D. students is mandatory.
(ii) Principal Scientist (Common Instruments Facility):
- Qualification: PhD in Chemistry/Physics/Material Science/Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating activities related to equipment installation, maintenance, operations, and training of operators. Proficiency in setting up analysis protocols and conducting training programs is required.
- Archivist:
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate Degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Library Science, or Information Science with at least 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in archival record management in a reputed organization at a supervisory level.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. in Humanities, Social Sciences, Library Science, or Information Science; experience in preservation treatments for historic documents, supporting curatorial and exhibition projects, and skills in digitization techniques.
Age Limit: 50 years for both Principal Scientist and Archivist positions.
Salary Details:
- Principal Scientist: Level-13
- Archivist: Level-10
Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of a Written Test followed by an Interview.
