SSC Invites Applications for the Following Posts

Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’:

Educational Qualification: (As of August 23, 2023)

Applicants must have successfully completed the 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit: (As of August 1, 2023)

1. For Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age, meaning they should be born not earlier than August 2, 1993, and not later than August 1, 2005, to be eligible.
2. For Stenographer Grade ‘D’: Applicants should be aged between 18 and 27 years, which means their birthdates should fall between August 2, 1996, and August 1, 2005, to qualify.

The upper age limit is subject to relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD candidates, and 13 years for OBC PWD candidates), and as per Government of India rules for Ex-Servicemen. Selection Process for SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ 2023:

The selection process for SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ may consist of the following steps:

1. Computer-Based Examination
2. Skill Test in Stenography

Examination Centers in Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, & Tirunelveli

Application Fee/Exam Fee for SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’:

• Application fee: Rs 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempt from paying the fee.
• The fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit cards.
