- Educational Qualification: Completion of Higher Secondary Course (12th class) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University.
- Technical Qualification: Proficiency in the following subjects offered by the State Board of Examination/Board of Technical Examination/Board of Technical Education and Training, recognized by the Government of Puducherry:
- Stenography Lower/Junior Grade (English)
- Typewriting Higher/Senior Grade (English)

3. Translator/Interpreter (Group-C post):

The selection process consists of two stages:
