For the 2023 Indian Navy SSC Officers Entry selection process, applicants will be shortlisted based on their normalized marks in their qualifying degree. Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of BE/BTech will have their marks up to the fifth semester considered for SSB shortlisting. Candidates who have completed a post-graduate degree program, such as MSc, MCA, MBA, or MTech, will have all semester marks considered. Candidates in their final year will be shortlisted based on their pre-final year performance.
Candidates who are selected in the final merit list will need to provide proof of completing their qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for the SSB interview through email or SMS, and they should not change their contact information until the selection process is over. Any correspondence regarding a change of SSB dates should be addressed to the call-up officer of the concerned SSB.
To apply for the Indian Navy SSC Officers Entry post, candidates who meet the above criteria must apply online through the link on the Indian Navy website’s careers webpage under the current openings section. The application period will be from 29.04.2023 to 14.05.2023, and no other mode of application will be accepted. Details of the SSB procedure can also be found on the Indian Navy website.
Please note that compensation is not admissible in case of any injury sustained during SSB interviews, and AC 3 tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview only if the candidate is appearing for the first time for a particular type of commission. Candidates should bring a photocopy of the first page of their passbook or cheque leaf with their name, account number, and IFSC details when appearing for the SSB.
