NHPC JE & Supervisor Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Engineer (Civil) / S1:

• Full-time regular Diploma in Civil Engineering from Government/Government recognized Institutes with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification of a full-time regular Diploma is not allowed.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical) / S1:

• Full-time regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government/Government recognized Institutes with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification of a full-time regular Diploma is not allowed.
• Junior Engineer (Mechanical) /S1:

• Full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government/Government recognized Institutes with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification of a full-time regular Diploma is not allowed.
• Junior Engineer (E&C) /S1:

• Full-time regular Diploma in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Government/Government recognized Institutes with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification of a full-time regular Diploma is not allowed.
• Supervisor (IT) /S1:

• Regular graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ level course from Government/Government recognized Institutes with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• OR Three years regular Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/IT from Government/Government recognized Institutes with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• OR Regular BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) from Government/Government recognized Institutes with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Essential Experience: Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience as of June 30, 2023, in one or more of the following technologies:

1. Software/Web/Mobile App development: Python/PHP/Django/Angular/React/WordPress/React Native/Flutter/.NET, etc.
2. Network Management: Server Management in Windows and Linux Operating System/Firewall Management/Cyber Security.
3. Database Management System: Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/other RDBMS Administration.

• SC/ST/PwBD candidates with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• Higher technical qualification like MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) without the above essential qualification and experience is not allowed.
• Supervisor (Survey) /S1:

• Full-time regular Diploma in Surveying/Survey Engineering from Government/Government recognized Institutes with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Essential Experience: The candidate must have knowledge and experience in job description-taking longitudinal section, cross-section, contouring, topographic survey, hydrographic survey, land map, valuation statement, land acquisition works, drawing of detailed survey map, handling and operating Theodolite, EDM, Total Station (Computerized Survey Instrument), Codifying the Data, Survey Software Program (e.g., LISCAD, etc.), including terrain modeling in the computer, printing, etc., with a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience as of June 30, 2023.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential qualification of a full-time regular Diploma is not allowed.
• Sr. Accountant /S1:
• Inter CA Pass or Inter CMA Pass.
• Hindi Translator / W06:

• Master’s degree from a recognized Indian university in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the Degree level, or
• Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian university in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level.
• Pass candidates are eligible to apply.
• Essential Experience:

• One year post-qualification experience as of June 30, 2023, in the field of using/applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi and Vice Versa in Central/State Govt./PSU.
• OR
• One-year post-qualification experience in research or teaching in Hindi in Central/State Govt. Educational Institute.
• OR
• Degree/Diploma in translation from English to Hindi and vice versa from a recognized Indian University.

• Draftsman (Civil) / W04:
• Matriculation Pass and ITI in Draughtsman Civil Trade from NCVT with NTC/NAC.
• Draftsman (Elect./Mech.) / W04:
• Matriculation Pass and ITI in Draughtsman Mechanical/Electrical Trade from NCVT with NTC/NAC.

Age Limit: (As of June 30, 2023)

• The maximum age limit is 30 years for all positions.
• The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. rules. Please refer to the NHPC official Notification 2023 for more details.

Salary Details: The salary details for each position are as follows:

1. Junior Engineer (Civil) / S1: Rs. 29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA)
2. Junior Engineer (Electrical) / S1: Rs. 29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA)
3. Junior Engineer (Mechanical) / S1: Rs. 29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA)
4. Junior Engineer (E&C) / S1: Rs. 29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA)
5. Supervisor (IT) / S1: Rs. 29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA)
6. Supervisor (Survey) / S1: Rs. 29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA)
7. Sr. Accountant / S1: Rs. 29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA)
8. Hindi Translator / W06: Rs. 27,000 – 1,05,000 (IDA)
9. Draftsman (Civil) / W04: Rs. 25,000 – 85,000 (IDA)
10. Draftsman (Elect./Mech.) / W04: Rs. 25,000 – 85,000 (IDA)

NHPC JE & Supervisor Selection Process 2023: The selection process for NHPC JE & Supervisor positions may include:

1. Computer Based Test/Online Test
2. Certificate Verification

NHPC JE & Supervisor Syllabus & Exam Pattern: Details about the syllabus and exam pattern for NHPC JE & Supervisor positions will be provided in the official notification.

NHPC JE & Supervisor Question Papers: Question papers for NHPC JE & Supervisor positions will be available for reference.

Application Fee/Exam Fee for NHPC JE & Supervisor:

• General, EWS & OBC (NCL) category candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.295/- (including GST @ 18%) through online mode.
• SC/ST/PwBD/ESM category candidates are exempted from paying the registration fee.
• The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are requested to verify their eligibility and correctness of information on the application form before paying the application fee.

• Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria must apply online through the link provided on the NHPC website in the careers webpage under the current openings section.
