The age limit for the Scientist-‘B’ Group ‘A’ (Gazetted) post is between 21 to 30 years, while for the Scientific Officer/Engineer – SB Group-B (Gazetted) post, it is between 21 to 35 years. And, for the Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’ Group-B (Non-Gazetted) post, the age limit is between 18 to 30 years.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 800/- for the Scientist-‘B’ Group ‘A’ (Gazetted) and Scientific Officer/Engineer – SB Group-B (Gazetted) posts, while for the Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’ Group-B (Non-Gazetted) post, the application fee is Rs. 600/-. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Women categories and Internal candidates of NIC are exempted from payment of the application fee.
