ICMR-NICPR is looking for candidates for the following positions:

1. Scientist B (Non Medical)
2. Project Technical Officer
3. Project Field Investigator
4. Project Technical Support

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Scientist B (Non Medical):

• Educational Qualification: 1st class Master’s degree in public health/ population studies/ sustainable development practice/ community health/ sociology/ social work/ geography/Economics from a recognized university with two years of work experience in the relevant field. OR 2nd class Master’s degree with PhD in the mentioned disciplines.
• Desirable: Willingness to travel, knowledge of data entry and analysis, expertise in STATA, R, NVivo, etc., and at least two publications in peer-reviewed journals.

2. Project Technical Officer:

• Educational Qualification: Graduation in Science/ public health/ population studies/Demography/ sustainable development practice/ health psychology/community health/ sociology/ geography/ social work/ Economics from a recognized university with five years of experience in health OR Master’s degree in the mentioned disciplines.
• Desirable: Willingness to travel, prior experience in data collection, and knowledge of data entry packages like Excel, SPSS, etc.

3. Project Field Investigator:

• Educational Qualification: Graduation in Science/ Social Work/Psychology/ Anthropology/ Sociology/ Social work/ Behavioral science/ Economics from a recognized university with three years of experience in research OR Master’s degree in the mentioned disciplines.
• Desirable: Willingness to travel, prior experience in data collection, and knowledge of data entry packages like Excel, SPSS, etc.

4. Project Technical Support-III:

• Educational Qualification: Graduation in Science/ public health/ population studies/ demography/ sustainable development practice/psychology/ community health/ sociology/ social work/ geography/ Economics with three years of experience in health OR Master’s degree in the mentioned disciplines.
• Desirable: Willingness to travel, prior experience in data collection, and knowledge of data entry packages like Excel, SPSS, etc.

Age Limit (As on 16.10.2023):

1. Scientist B (Non Medical) – 35 Years
2. Project Technical Officer – 30 Years
3. Project Field Investigator – 30 Years
4. Project Technical Support-III – 35 Years

Salary Details:

1. Scientist B (Non Medical) – Rs. 48,000/-+6,300/-(HRA)=Rs.54,300/-
2. Project Technical Officer – Rs. 32,000/-
3. Project Field Investigator – Rs. 31,000/-
4. Project Technical Support-III – Rs. 28,000/- + 7,560/- (HRA) =Rs. 35,560/-

Selection Process: ICMR-NICPR may conduct Walk-In-Interview, Written Test, and Personal Discussions.
