1. Project Research Scientist – I (Non-medical):
Educational Qualification:
- Essential Qualifications: First-class Post Graduate degree, including Integrated degrees in Microbiology/ Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences OR Second class Post Graduate degree, including Integrated degrees in Microbiology/ Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences with Ph.D. in Microbiology/Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Doctoral degree/ Post-doctoral experience in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Infectious diseases.
- Previous experience in AMR research (field-based and bench work) with scientific writing skills demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications.
- Proficiency in bioinformatic tools for microbial identification/ characterization/ genetic relatedness.
2. Project Technical Support III (Lab):
Educational Qualification:
- Essential Qualifications: Three years graduate in Microbiology/ Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized university with 3 years’ experience OR PG in Microbiology/ Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution/ University.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Hands-on experience in clinical microbiological techniques from work in recognized diagnostic/hospital/medical research institutions.
- Proficiency in molecular techniques like nucleic acid extraction and PCR.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
3. Project Technical Support III (Lab):
Educational Qualification:
- Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Microbiology/ Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized university with 3 years’ work experience from a recognized institution/University OR Masters in Microbiology/ Medical Laboratory Technology from recognized institution/University.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Hands-on experience in clinical microbiological techniques from work in recognized diagnostic/hospital/medical research institution/ NABL accredited laboratory.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
4. Project Technical Support III (Field):
Educational Qualification:
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in Social Science/ Social Work from a recognized university with three years of work experience in health research/health care settings from a recognized institution/University OR Master’s degree in Social Science/ Social Work from a recognized institution/university.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in field-based health research studies.
- Proficiency in Tamil to interact with community participants.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
5. Project Nurse II:
Educational Qualification:
- Essential Qualifications: Minimum Second Class or equivalent CGPA three-year General Nursing & Midwife (GNM) Course.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in conducting interviews, performing clinical examinations, and collecting blood/swab samples as part of hospital or field-based health research projects.
- Proficiency in Tamil to interact with community participants.
6. Project Technical Support II (Lab):
Educational Qualifications:
- Essential Qualifications: 12th in science + Diploma (MLT/ DMLT) + five years of experience in relevant subject/field.
Note: A B.Sc. degree in Medical Laboratory Technology is treated as 3 years of experience.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Work experience in a clinical microbiology/diagnostic laboratory at a recognized Teaching Hospital/Medical Research Institution/NABL-accredited laboratory.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
7. Project Research Scientist – II (Medical/Non-medical):
Educational Qualification:
- Essential Qualification (Medical): MBBS/ BDS + 3 years of experience OR MBBS/ BDS + MPH/ PhD OR MBBS/ BDS + Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees.
- Essential Qualification (Non-medical): First-Class Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees in Epidemiology/ Data Sciences/Microbiology/ Biotechnology + 3 years public health/medical research experience or PhD in Epidemiology/ Data Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology OR Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees in Epidemiology/ Data Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology + PhD in Epidemiology/ Data Sciences/Microbiology/ Biotechnology + 3 years public health/medical research experience.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
- Proven experience in scientific writing communication with peer-reviewed publications.
- Post-Doctoral Research in infectious disease epidemiology/vaccine-preventable disease research in recognized institutes.
- Working knowledge of Statistical Packages.
8. Project Research Scientist – I (Non-medical) (Biostatistics):
Educational Qualification:
- Essential Qualification: First-class Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics including integrated PG degree OR Second class Post Graduate degree, including Integrated degrees with PhD. in Statistics/Biostatistics.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
- Experience in data management and analysis using advanced statistical techniques.
- Proficiency in SPSS/STATA and other statistical packages.
- Knowledge of using RED Cap software.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of ODK-based data capture tools & developing questionnaires.
- Publication in peer-reviewed journals.
