Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Limited Executive Positions:
Educational Qualification:
- Executive (Electrical) –
Qualification: Candidates must have a degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience Profile: Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in Electrical Erection/Testing & Commissioning in Rural Electrification/Distribution Management System/Sub Transmission/Transmission Lines/Substation work.
- Executive (P&S) –
Qualification: Candidates must have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience Profile: Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in planning and monitoring of projects. Candidates should also have sound knowledge of MS-O.
Age Limit:
- Executive (Electrical) – The maximum age limit for candidates is 35 years.
- Executive (P&S) – The maximum age limit for candidates is 35 years.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories may avail relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules. Refer to the official notification by NTPC Limited 2023 for further details.
Remuneration:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated amount of Rs. 100000/-. Additionally, they will be provided with HRA/Company Accommodation, and medical facilities for themselves, spouse and two children.
Selection Process for NTPC Limited Executive Positions 2023:
The selection process for NTPC Limited Executive positions may consist of the following stages:

- Interview
Application Fee/Exam Fee for NTPC Limited Executive:
Candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. However, SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee. Payment can be made in either online or offline mode.
Payment in offline mode: Candidates may approach the nearby State Bank of India (SBI) branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” which is available on the application registration portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of the amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. Candidates must fill up this journal number and branch code during online registration. NTPC Limited will not be responsible if a candidate deposits the fee in the wrong account.
Payment in online mode: Candidates may also choose to pay the fees online (through Net banking/Debit Card (Rupay debit cards only)/Credit Card). The online payment option will be available on the website. After making a successful payment, candidates must fill in the Challan number, Bank Reference No., date of payment, etc., in the online application.
