RCF is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Position Details:
- Sports Person: 8 positions available
Discipline-wise Vacancies:
- Basketball (Men): 2 positions
- Hockey (Men): 3 positions
- Hockey (Women): 2 positions
- Wrestling Men (Free Style): 1 position
- Total: 8 positions
Eligibility Criteria for RCF Sports Person:
Educational Qualification:
- Technician-III:
- 10th Pass OR
- 10th Pass plus completion of an Act Apprentice/ITI certificate granted by NCVT in relevant trades.
- The training period for Sports Quota appointees will be 3 years unless they possess an ITI qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be 6 months.
- Junior Clerk-cum-Typist:
- 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination.
- Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on a computer is essential.
Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment:
Candidates must have represented the country in any of the following Championships/events:
- World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior category)
- World Championships (Junior/Senior Category)
- Asian Games (Senior Category)
- Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)
- Youth Olympics
- Champions Trophy (Hockey)
OR
At least 3rd position in any of the following Championships/events:
- Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category)
- Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)
- South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category)
- USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category)
- World University Games
OR
At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championship.
OR
At least 3rd position in National Games organized under the aegis of the Indian Olympic Association.
OR
1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2024):
- Sports Person: 18 to 25 Years
- Candidates may be eligible for age relaxation per Government rules. Refer to the RCF official Notification 2023 for more details.
Salary Details:
- Sports Person: Level 2 GP Rs. 1900/-
RCF Sports Person Selection Process 2023:
The selection process for RCF Sports Person may include the following steps:
- Sports Trial
- Interview
Application Fee/Exam Fee for RCF Sports Person:
- For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-Para (ii) below: Rs. 500/-
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disability/Women/Minorities* and Economic Backward Class**: Rs. 250/- (with a provision for refunding the same to eligible candidates).
- Candidates should deposit the requisite fees in favor of PFAMCF/IOCH’s Online Account No. 65035290377, IFSC Code SB1N0050540 of State Bank of India before the closing date. Attach a copy of the fees receipt with the application.
FEE EXEMPTIONS:
A) To claim exemption/refund from the application fee, Minority candidates should submit a ‘self-declaration’ as mentioned in Format ‘A’ at the time of Document Verification. *Minorities mean Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians (Parsis). Such candidates claiming exemption of the application fee will be required to furnish a minority community declaration affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper that they belong to any of the above minority communities. Failure to produce the affidavit during document verification will result in rejection of the candidature.
B) Economically Backward Classes (EBC) will be candidates whose Family Income is less than Rs. 50,000/- per Annum.
