Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
To be eligible for the position of Research Scientist (Electronics), candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:
- Essential Qualification: Candidates should possess a B.E/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized institution.
- Desirable Areas of Experience: Applicants with fresher status or up to 3 years of experience in any Research and Development (R&D) institution or industry are preferred. Additionally, candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Digital signal processing
- Digital systems design using microcontroller & FPGA
- Communication system design
- Implementation of digital signal processing algorithms in MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Application software development using Lab VIEW/Lab Windows software for electronic systems
- Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test & evaluation
- EMI/EMC calibration
- Working knowledge of RF/Microwave instrumentation
- RF system design
- Antenna & antenna arrays design
- CAD tools for RF system and antenna design
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for the position of Research Scientist (Electronics) is 30 years. It’s important to note that no age concession will be provided for reserved categories, ex-servicemen, or any other category, as this is a purely contractual appointment.
Remuneration:
Selected candidates for the position of Research Scientist (Electronics) will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000/- per month, with an annual increment of Rs. 1,600/-. For candidates with an M.E/M.Tech qualification, the consolidated salary will be Rs. 31,600/- per month, also with an annual increment of Rs. 1,600/-.
Selection Process:
The selection process for the position of Research Scientist (Electronics) will consist of two stages:
- Written Test: Candidates will be required to undergo a written test to assess their knowledge and aptitude in relevant areas.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be invited for a personal interview, where their skills, experience, and suitability for the role will be further evaluated.
