Eligibility criteria for Southern Railway recruitment 2022
Qualifications as of the announcement date: General:
1. A former military veteran who has been discharged and holds a discharge certificate, former ID card and a pension order.
2. Veterans (BSF, CRPF, CISF, etc.) are not eligible to apply. Educational Qualification: Minimum Educational Qualification X Standard Pass (SSLC/Equivalent Military Education).
Age limit:
You must not reach the age of 55. See the 2022 Southern Railroad Legal Notice for more information.
Emoluments and facilities:
a) Former military personnel appointed as gatekeepers under the contract receive a monthly total salary of Rupees 23,000 per month. Clothing is separate. A statutory refund applies in the above cases. A deposit of 10,000 rupees will be refunded in two rounds of compensation. The deposit will be refunded in accordance with the current procedure upon termination of the contract. b) Former military personnel assigned as gatekeepers under the contract are entitled to 10 unplanned vacation days per year for the duration of the contract. Absences are prorated and deducted from monthly remuneration.

Any former maintenance personnel who wish to be appointed as gatekeepers under the contract accept all conditions set forth above and agree to perform gatekeeper obligations as set forth in the Indian Permanent Path Manual and the General Rules (Open Line). From the date of this notice to March 10, 2022, it is recommended that the application be submitted in accordance with the prescribed form (Appendix A) to the Director of Human Resources at Southern Railway, Branch Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli. Applications received after the last date of pin code 620001. will not be considered. Applications with attachments must be sent only by regular mail with a note on the cover page of “Ex Serviceman’s Participation under the Engg / Optg Gates FEB2022 Agreement”.
