Engineer (Mining):
Candidates must have a full-time degree in Mining Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc-4 years) from a recognized university/institute.
They must also possess a valid First-Class Manager’s Certificate from DGMS. Additionally, candidates should have at least one year of post-qualification experience in the executive/officer cadre in the field of coal mining. The upper age limit for this position is 32 years.
Geologist:
Candidates must have a full-time M.Tech/M.Sc in Applied Geology or an equivalent degree, preferably with specialization in Engineering Geology, from a recognized Indian university or institute recognized by the appropriate statutory authority in India with not less than 60% marks.
They must also have at least one year of post-qualification experience in the executive/officer cadre in the field of geology in hydro projects and coal mines. The upper age limit for this position is also 32 years.
Age Limit For This Job :
The upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is relaxed by 5 years, OBC candidates by 3 years, and Persons with Disabilities by 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), as per the Govt. of India rules. Candidates belonging to these categories can avail of the relaxation provided.
Pay Scale Details for This Job:
The salary for both Engineer (Mining) and Geologist positions is Rs. 46584/-.
The selection of candidates will be based on their experience in the respective field and performance in the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5, and a personal interview will be conducted for all eligible candidates.
If the number of eligible applicants to the number of vacancies for the post is in excess of the ratio 1:5, the number of candidates will be restricted for Personal Interview on the basis of academic record and experience.
Candidates belonging to the General/OBC(NCL)/EWS category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 600 (Rs Six Hundred Only) through online mode.
The SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental candidates (THDCIL Employees only) are exempt from paying the registration fee.
