THSTI (Translational Health Science and Technology Institute) is inviting applications for various positions. The details are as follows:
1. Technical Officer – II
- Number of Posts:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences
- Four years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field
- Desirable Qualification & Experience/Job Responsibilities:
- Expertise in immuno techniques such as FACS, ELISA, RTPCR, and tissue culture
- Experience with human viruses and other virological assays
- Responsibilities include creating SOPs, validating assays, adhering to regulatory guidelines, and providing support in vaccine development
- Preference for candidates with experience in working with highly infectious pathogens like SARS-CoV-2 in a BSL3 laboratory, Influenza viruses, and culturing/quantification of human viruses with relevant publications
2. Lab Attendant
- Number of Posts: 01
- Educational Qualification:
- Standard 12th with two years of post-qualification working experience in a research lab
- Desirable Qualification & Experience/Job Responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge of biology, chemistry, and other science-related courses is desirable
3. Lab Technician
- Number of Posts:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university
- Working experience in an R&D lab
- Desirable Qualification & Experience/Job Responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge of buffer preparation, electrophoresis, bacterial culture, and plasmid purification is preferential
Age Limit:
- Technical Officer – II: 35 years
- Lab Attendant: 30 years
- Lab Technician: 30 years
- Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to the THSTI official Notification 2024 for more details.
Salary Details:
- Technical Officer – II: Rs. 75,000/-
- Lab Attendant: Rs. 24,000/-
- Lab Technician: Rs. 20,000/-
Selection Process: THSTI may follow this process for candidate selection:
- Walk-in for a written test/skill test
- Interview
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates with the specified essential qualifications may appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the Institute. Bring all original and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials, a valid identity proof (Voter ID card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card), and one passport-size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the interview without the original certificates.
