b. Reinforce the academic skills that students have acquired in the school environment through “Family and Education” program activities.

A homeschooling program in a rural setting can help reduce learning loss in children to a large extent. Since this is a volunteer-based program, awareness needs to be created in the community for the successful implementation of this program.
First, social organizations should be involved at the village level to establish community integration.
Various educational media campaigns (IEC Information Education Communication) should be carried out in the villages with the help of local folk artists through street theatre, puppetry, dance, singing. track, etc. to raise awareness about the importance of Illam Thirak educational program.
Development activities, mural painting, etc. held at the school level. Posters, flyers and banners related to the “Illam Chidak Udaki” program should be displayed in the villages for all to see.
Cycling races should be held at district level to attract young people’s interest.
Art, cultural dances and songs spreading the “Family and Education” spirit are planned with the performers on the caravan.
At the state level, public campaigns will be carried out on social media to disseminate information about IEC education outreach activities.
News will be prepared and broadcast by state leaders and celebrities through television, radio and other media tools.
At the village level, appropriate, safe, hygienic and accessible “homeschooling” teaching centers should be selected for children.

Activity IEC will launch an open call for volunteers to participate in this initiative.
Volunteer recruitment includes volunteer registration, volunteer screening, volunteer training, and volunteer feedback.
To facilitate all stages of volunteering, the “Illamthedikalvi Education” website (http://illamthedikalvi.tnschools.gov.in/) and an online volunteering application have been developed.
Thanks to these, school-student-volunteer-village communication will be smooth.
Make sure there are enough volunteers to fill the void if the volunteer wants to quit.
These volunteers will receive intensive and intensive training in the use of teaching and learning materials for children once a month.
Similarly, once a week, volunteers should be organized to interact with relevant schools.
Priority should be given to female volunteers in the same area.
Volunteers who have passed Grade 12 are eligible to teach children in Grades 1 to 5.
Similarly, certified volunteers are eligible to teach children from Grades 6 to 8.

Group participation, experiential learning, and activity-based learning will take precedence. Then numbers, basic functions, measurements, geometry, fractions, and more. will gradually be acquainted with mathematics.
If it is a language course, listening, speaking, reading, writing and comprehension will be preferred. Subjects in environmental science, science and everyday life are offered.
The curriculum for the Home Search Education courses will be developed by the National Institute of Education Research and Training.
On average, volunteer time with students is at least 6 hours per week.
This means that 1-1% of daily hours (from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) must involve students in learning activities appropriate to the local context.
Schools should be periodically evaluated to ensure that the program is effective in closing student learning gaps.
This program should be made to include children with special needs.
It is very important to educate parents about the provisions of the Free and Compulsory Education Act and the duties and responsibilities of parents as part of the community school administration.

The program also provides incentives to stakeholders at all levels by awarding certificates of appreciation and awards.
