The Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank (TNSC Bank) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to fill the critical role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements set forth by NABARD and RBI.
• Oversee the bank’s information security program, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, and security awareness training.
• Manage and mentor a team of information security professionals.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Work closely with other departments, such as IT, Risk Management, and Compliance, to ensure alignment and integration of security initiatives.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular security audits and reviews to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Oversee the implementation and management of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data encryption solutions.
• Manage the bank’s security budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Report to senior management on the bank’s overall security posture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Cybersecurity) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Higher qualifications are preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years demonstrably focused on information security in the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing cybersecurity programs.
• Strong understanding of core banking solutions, digital banking platforms, network security, and IT infrastructure.
• Possession of at least one of the following industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCISO, or CISA.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
