This position is within Upwork’s Hybrid Workforce Solutions (HWS) Team, a diverse group of professionals spanning the globe and dedicated to supporting Upwork’s business objectives. As a member of the HWS Team, you will contribute to the growth and success of our platform.

Work/Project Scope:

  • Identify and prospect potential tech partnerships aligned with Upwork’s distribution strategy.
  • Locate the decision makers within targeted companies and gather their contact information.
  • Enter contact details into Salesforce and synchronize them with sales cadence software.
  • Utilize pre-established sales cadences, leveraging various communication channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, social media, SMS) to schedule meetings with partnerships managers.
  • Send meeting invitations, including detailed agendas, to decision makers within designated business hours.
  • Ensure attendance of decision makers by sending meeting confirmations in advance.
  • Weekly meetings with partnerships managers to discuss pipeline progress, meeting quality, sales tactics, sales cadence optimization, and new prospecting targets.
  • Analyze sales cadence reporting to enhance open and response rates for emails.
  • By week 3, maintain a pipeline of over 250 prospects within the sales cadence.
  • By week 5, book an average of 2 meetings per day.
  • By week 7, ensure that 85% of booked meetings are qualified.

Must-Haves (Required Skills):

  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Native or fluent English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in social selling techniques.
  • Sales and cold-calling skills.
  • Ability to work with CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with Sales Cadence Software such as outreach.io, Salesoft, Nova.
