IIST is Seeking Applicants for the Following Positions:

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Medical Officer On Contract:
- MBBS degree or above with MCI registration.
- Minimum Two years of experience, preferably in Government Hospitals/Medical Centers of Educational institutions.
2. Resident Assistant Hostel Manager On Contract:
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Minimum One year experience in hostel management or guest house management.
- Good Communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Good working knowledge of computers.
- Ex-service persons who have served at the level of Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) or individuals from the Academic field are preferred.
3. Executive Assistant On Contract:
- Retired Government Employees who have served in the Central/State Government/Autonomous/Statutory Bodies/PSUs in Pay level – 8 or above in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC or equivalent pay in different pay scales.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in taking dictation in shorthand and its transcription, managing appointments/engagements, attending to telephone calls, receiving visitors, maintaining a diary of daily schedule, assisting in drafting and issuing all correspondences, and other regular work related to the smooth functioning of the office.
- Must have good knowledge of computer operation.
- Must be well acquainted with the functioning of Government/Scientific Organizations/Educational Institutions, etc.
Age Limit: (As on 01.11.2023)
- Medical Officer On Contract – 64 years
- Resident Assistant Hostel Manager On Contract – 60 years
- Executive Assistant On Contract – 64 years
Salary Details:
- Medical Officer On Contract – Rs. 55,000/- per month consolidated.
- Resident Assistant Hostel Manager On Contract – Rs. 30,000/- per month consolidated.
- Executive Assistant On Contract – Rs. 30,000/- per month consolidated.
Selection Process: IIST may follow the following process to select the candidates.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates with the aforementioned essential qualifications may appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the Institute with all original and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials and a valid identity proof (Voter ID card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card) along with one passport-size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the interview without the original certificates.
