Intelligence Bureau (IB) is inviting applications for the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have achieved qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2021, 2022, or 2023 in Electronics & Communication (GATE code: EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (GATE code: CS) along with:

• B.E or B.Tech in the fields of Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a Government recognized University/College/Institute.

OR

• Master’s Degree in Science with Electronics or Physics with Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Computer Science; or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/College/Institute.

Age Limit: (As on 12.01.2024)

1. ACIO-II/Tech – 18 to 27 Years

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to the Intelligence Bureau (IB) official Notification 2023 for more details.

Salary Details:

1. ACIO-II/Tech – Level 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. Allowances

Selection Process:

The interview aims to assess the candidate’s traits on two parameters: Subject knowledge in relevant fields and Communication skills. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks obtained in the Gate Examination and Interview.

• Exam Fee: Rs.100/-
• Recruitment Processing Charges: Rs.100/-

The fees are required to be paid as follows:

Note: Banking charges, if applicable, will be borne by the candidate.

• SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and Ex-Servicemen are exempt from the examination fee.
• Ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in civil side under Central Govt in Group ‘C’ post on a regular basis after availing benefits of reservation given to them are required to pay the examination fee, i.e. Rs. 100/- also along with recruitment processing charges of Rs. 100/-.
