Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for these positions must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Chargeman (Electrical):
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with one year of experience in mining installations as supervisor after acquiring a Supervisory Certificate of Competency issued by the appropriate government.
  • OR ITI (Electrical) with three years of supervisory experience in mining installations following the issuance of a Supervisory Certificate of Competency by the relevant government.
  • OR Class 10th with five years of supervisory experience in mining installations following the issuance of a Supervisory Certificate of Competency by the relevant government.
• Electrician ‘A’:
  • ITI (Electrical) with four years of experience as an electrician.
  • OR Class 10th with seven years of experience as an electrician.
• Electrician ‘B’:
  • ITI (Electrical) with three years of experience as an electrician.
  • OR Class 10th with six years of experience as an electrician.
• WED ‘B’:
  • Diploma with one year of experience in the relevant field.
  • OR Graduate (BA/B.Sc./BBA/B.Com) with one year of experience in the concerned field.
  • OR three years of experience as an apprentice in a related field.
  • OR six years of experience in the relevant field and a Class 10 pass.

Statutory Certificate

• Chargeman (Electrical): Current wireman’s permit issued by the Government Electrical Inspector.
• Electrician ‘A’: Current wireman’s permit issued by the Government Electrical Inspector.
• Electrician ‘B’: Valid wireman permit from Government Electrical Inspector.
• WED ‘B’: Valid 1st Class Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate.

Age Limit

As on 01.01.2025:

• Chargeman (Electrical): 40 Years
• Electrician ‘A’: 40 Years
• Electrician ‘B’: 40 Years
• WED ‘B’: 40 Years

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit

• For SC/ ST Applicants: 5 years
• For OBC Applicants: 3 years
• For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: 10 years
• For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: 15 years
• For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: 13 years
• For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy

Pay Scale
