Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
The minimum qualification required for the position of Tourism Development Officer (Grade-II) is a Graduate degree from a University recognized by the Government, in any stream. Additionally, candidates must possess knowledge of computers, with a duration of at least 6 (six) months. Alternatively, candidates with a Graduate degree in Hospitality, Hotel, Travel, and Tourism Management or Administration from a recognized University, along with a minimum of 6 (six) months’ duration of computer knowledge, are also eligible.
Weightage: i. Knowledge of any Foreign Language other than English or language spoken in the Indian Subcontinent. ii. Working Experience in travel and Tourism or Hotel management administration section.
Candidates are required to upload relevant semester/year mark sheets reflecting the subjects and the final pass certificate.
Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2024)
The age of candidates applying for the position of Tourism Development Officer (Grade-II) should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years.
Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:
- For SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- For OBC/MOBC Candidates: 3 years
- For PwBD (Gen/EWS) Candidates: 10 years
