Recruitment Notice for Tradesman Trainee Positions at IREL: Eligibility Criteria and Application Details

IREL (India) Limited invites applications for Tradesman Trainee positions in various trades. Below are the eligibility criteria, salary details, selection process, and application procedure.

Educational Qualification:

  1. Tradesman Trainee (ITI) Fitter / Electrician:
  1. ITI / NAC in Fitter / Electrician.
  2. Two years of experience in the relevant trade/discipline in a reputed industrial establishment, including on-the-job training or apprenticeship training.
  3. For Electrician Trade: Possession of a valid statutory license is essential.
  1. Tradesman Trainee (ITI) Attendant Operator Chemical Plant:
  1. ITI/NAC in Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) or
  2. Plus 2 Science (Intermediate/Higher Secondary) with Chemistry as one of the subjects and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  3. Two years of experience in the operation of Chemical and allied Process Industry, including apprenticeship training if any.

Age Limit: (As on 15.03.2024)

  • Tradesman Trainee (ITI): Maximum 35 years.
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and as per Government of India rules for Ex-Servicemen.

Salary Details:

  • Stipend during training: Consolidated stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month.
  • Pay Scale after training: Rs. 22000-88000/-
  • Grade after training: W-3 Grade.

Selection Process:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT) (Paper-I, Paper-II) [First Level Test].
  2. Skill Test / Trade Test and Psychometric Test [Second Level Test].
  1. The Written Test centers tentatively at Mumbai, Bhopal, Vishakhapatnam, Trivandrum, Kochi, Chennai, Nagercoil, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar.

  • For Females and SC/ST/ESM Candidates: Nil.
  • For Other Candidates: Rs. 500/-
  • Payment Mode: Online.
