Educational Qualification:
- Cook (only for male Candidates) –

- Civilian Catering Instructor (only for male Candidates) –
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Diploma or Certificate in catering from any recognized institution.
- Desirable to have one year working experience in catering as an instructor.
- MTS (Chowkidar) (only for Male Candidates) –
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Should be proficient in trade work.
- Tradesman Mate (Labour) (only for Male Candidates) –
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institution.
- Should be proficient in trade.
- Vehicle Mechanic (Only for Male Candidates) –
- 10th Standard pass from a recognized Board.
- Capable of reading numbers and names of tools and vehicles in both English and Hindi.
- One year experience in his trade.
- Civilian Motor Driver (Only for Male Candidates) –
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institution.
- Must possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles.
- Should have at least two years of experience in driving motor vehicles.
- Cleaner (only for Male Candidates) –
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.

- Leading Fireman (Only for Male Candidates) –
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings, fire appliances, and equipment like fire engines, trailers, pumps, foam branches.
- Must be capable of training, guiding, and controlling the working of ‘B’ crane and capable of taking independent charge of a shift.
- Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods and preferably certified by a reputed institution after attending a fireman course.
- Fireman (Only for Male Candidates) –
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings, fire appliances, and equipment like fire engines, trailers, pumps, foam branches.
- Must be familiar with the use and maintenance of first-aid fire-fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump.
- Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods and preferably certified by a reputed institution after attending a fireman course.
- Fire Engine Driver (Only for Male Candidates) –
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Should be proficient in trade work.
- Must have at least three years of experience in driving heavy vehicles and possess a valid driving license.
- Preferably certified by a reputed institution after attending a fireman course.
Age Limit:
- The age of the candidates for CCI, Cooks, Cleaner, FED, Fireman, Leading Fireman, Vehicle Mechanic, MTS (Chowkidar), and Tradesman Mate (Labour) must be between 18 to 25 years.
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) The age limit for candidates applying for the position of Civilian Motor Driver must be between 18 to 27 years.
Relaxation for Age Limit:
(i) The upper age limit is relaxable for Government servants and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per existing Government rules (Total service rendered in Armed Forces plus 3 years).
(ii) For SC/ST candidates applying for their reserved posts, there will be an age relaxation of up to 5 years. OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates will be given age relaxation up to 3 years.
(iii) For Persons with Disability under UR category, there will be a relaxation of 10 years, OBC (Non-creamy layer) category will have a relaxation of 13 years, and SC/ST category will have a relaxation of 15 years.
(iv) SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved posts will not receive age and other concessions meant for SC/ST/OBC.
(v) PH individuals should possess a Disability certificate issued by CMO/Civil Surgeon of a Government Hospital certifying the disability.
(vi) Departmental Candidates with Three Years Continuous Service in Central Government have an age limit up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST).
Salary Details:
- Cook (only for male Candidates) – Rs 19,900 + DA and other allowances as admissible.
- Civilian Catering Instructor (only for male Candidates) – Rs 19,900 + DA and other allowances are admissible.
- MTS (Chowkidar) (only for Male Candidates) – Rs 18,000 + DA and other allowances are admissible.
- Tradesman Mate (Labour) (only for Male Candidates) – Rs 18,000 + DA and other allowances are admissible.
- Vehicle Mechanic (Only for Male Candidates) – Rs 19,900 + DA and other allowances are admissible.
- Civilian Motor Driver (Only for Male Candidates) – Rs 19,900 + DA and other allowances are admissible.
- Cleaner (only for Male Candidates) – Rs 18,000 + DA and other allowances are admissible.
- Leading Fireman (Only for Male Candidates) – Rs 21,700 + DA and other allowances as admissible.
- Fireman (Only for Male Candidates) – Rs 19,900 + DA and other allowances as admissible.
- Fire Engine Driver (Only for Male Candidates) – Rs 21,700 + DA and other allowances as admissible.
Selection Process:
ASC Centre (South) – 2ATC may follow the subsequent process to select candidates:
- Written Test
- Skill/Physical/Practical Test
Skill/Physical/Practical tests, followed by a written examination, are scheduled to be conducted in ASC Centre (South) Bangalore (Karnataka) only.

How to Apply:
Applications, complete in all respects along with a self-addressed registered envelope duly affixed with the appropriate postal stamp and all requisite documents, duly self-attested, should be addressed to The Presiding Officer, Civilian Direct Recruitment Board, CHQ, ASC Centre (South) – 2 ATC, Agram Post, Bangalore -07.
Important Instructions to the Applicants: (a) Candidates should read the Advertisement carefully before filling up the application form. All candidates must ensure their eligibility as per the advertisement.
(b) On the top of the cover envelope, candidates should write: (i) “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______________”. (ii) Overall percentage in Matriculation/equivalent in capital letters, duly signed by the candidates, using the specified color ink: (aa) Less than or equal to 50% in RED INK. (ab) From 51% to 60% in BLUE INK. (ac) Above 61% in BLACK INK. (iii) Format for the application cover envelope is attached as Appendix I. (iv) In case the applicant is a Govt Employee, mark “GOVT EMPLOYEES” on the envelope. (v) Aadhar Card prepared below 10yrs age will not be accepted. (vi) Aadhar Card & PAN must bear the name of the applicant correctly as per the School Certificate. (vii) Format for the application cover envelope is attached as Appendix I.
(c) While writing the percentage of marks in various color inks on the cover envelope, the decimal number less than 0.5 should be rounded off to the lower digit, and decimal numbers equal to or above 0.5 should be rounded off to the upper digit (e.g., 48.49% to be rounded off to 48%, and 50.50% to be rounded off to 51%).

(i) Self-attested legible copies of all required Certificates/Documents. (ii) Aadhar Card. (iii) Domicile. (iv) Matriculation Pass Certificate. (v) Mark Sheet of Class X or Matriculation. (vi) Experience Certificate. (vii) Proof of caste/category [SC/ST/OBC/PH(PWD)/ESM/EWS] from the competent Authorities. (viii) Admit Card.
