Assam Rifles Sports Person Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Rifleman / Riflewomen (GD) Under Sports Quota 2023 –
Required Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized Board.
Sports Qualification: Individuals who have participated in any International Competition/National Competitions/Inter-Tournament/National Sports/Games for Schools or have been a national award winner in the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
Age Limit: (As on 30.07.2023)
(i) For General & OBC candidates: 18-28 years as of 01 Aug 2023. Candidates should be born between 01 Aug 1995 and 01 Aug 2005.
(ii) For SC & ST candidates: 18-33 years as of 01 Aug 2023. Candidates should be born between 01 Aug 1990 and 01 Aug 2005.
(b) Only Matriculation Certificate or Higher Secondary School Certificate will be accepted as proof to establish the candidate’s age.
The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per the Government of India rules. Candidates will be provided relaxation in the upper age limit as per Government rules. For more details, refer to the Assam Rifles official Notification 2023.
Assam Rifles Sports Person Selection Process 2023:
Assam Rifles will follow the below process to select candidates:
Candidate Verification, Initial Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Conduct of Field Trial, Appeal Against Physical Standard Test (PST), Detailed Medical Examination (DME), and Final Selection.
Application Fee/Exam Fee for Assam Rifles Sports Person:
Application Fee: The fee structure and other details are as follows:
(a) Fee Structure: General and OBC category candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
(b) The fee should be deposited online by the candidates into SBI Current Account No. 37088046712 in favor of Recruitment Branch, HQ DGAR, Shillong – 793010, payable at SBI HQ DGAR Laitkor Branch IFSC Code – SBIN0013883.
(c) No fee is charged from candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Female candidates.
