The Commercial Banking Group:

The Commercial Banking Group at Axis is dedicated to providing comprehensive financial solutions to clients with a turnover ranging from Rs 10 Crs. to Rs 250 Crs. Our wide range of products and services includes forex, trade, payments, cash management, tax payments, as well as retail offerings such as salary, trust services, forex, commercial card, and credit cards.

About the Role:

As a member of the Credit Appraisal Memo Processing Unit (CAMPU), you will serve as a Credit Analyst, playing a vital role in the credit appraisal process. Your primary responsibility will involve preparing Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs) to evaluate loan proposals. You will analyze and present information related to the borrower’s market, financial statements, technical ratios, management, and other relevant areas. Working closely with Relationship Managers, you will gain a deep understanding of clients’ profiles and their specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs) and compile necessary notes, including reviews and replies to observations from the Risk department.
• Assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and create credit proposals that align with existing product suite and credit policy guidelines.
• Conduct reviews and renewals of accounts.
• Maintain acceptable Turnaround Time (TAT) for various tasks, such as conducting ratings, preparing appraisal notes, and managing renewals.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, the optimal qualifications include:

• Graduation with a strong academic background.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are CAs/Management Graduates/ICWAs.

Role Proficiencies:

To successfully fulfill this role, candidates should possess the following proficiencies:

• Good understanding of financial ratios and concepts.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and the local language.
