- MT (Electronics) – A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) in Electronics Engineering or Technology, or an equivalent course, from a recognized University/Institute.
- MT (Mechanical) – A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) in Mechanical Engineering or Technology, or an equivalent course, from a recognized University/Institute.
- MT (Electrical) – A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) in Electrical Engineering or Technology, or an equivalent course, from a recognized University/Institute.
- MT (Computer Science) – A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) in Computer Science Engineering or Technology, or an equivalent course, from a recognized University/Institute.
- MT (Cyber Security) – – A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the field of ‘Cyber Security’. OR – A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology, from a recognized University/Institute. Plus, Certification in any of the following: – Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council – Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 – Certified Information Security Management (CISM) from ISACA – ISO 27001 certification from an approved Certifying body – SOC Security Technology (e.g., SIEM, UEBA) Certification – Any other equivalent Cyber Security certification like CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Cyber Security Analyst (CySA+), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), CompTIA Security+, etc.
- MT (Chemical) – A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) in Chemical Engineering or Technology, or an equivalent course, from a recognized University/Institute. Alternatively, a First-Class M.Sc (Chemistry) from a recognized University/Institute.
- MT (Civil) – A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) in Civil Engineering or Technology, or an equivalent course, from a recognized University/Institute.
- MT (Business Development) –
– A First-Class Bachelor’s Degree (or 5-year Integrated course) in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Industrial Electronics / Production), and a First-Class in a 2-year MBA with a specialization in Sales & Marketing or equivalent post-graduate diploma/degree in Marketing/Sales & Marketing, from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable – Diploma in International Marketing / Foreign Trade. - MT (Optics) – A First-Class M.Sc Degree in Physics or Applied Physics with a specialization in Optics, Applied Optics, Fiber Optics, Laser, Opto-Electronics, or a First-Class M.Sc. (Tech.) in Engineering Physics with a specialization in Photonics or equivalent course, from a recognized University/Institute.
- MT (Finance) – Successful completion of the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), or the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICAI erstwhile ICWAI), or a First-Class MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Discipline of 2 Years duration from a recognized University/Institute.
- Welfare Officer – i) A Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or Law from a Government-recognized University. ii) A Post-Graduate degree or Diploma covering Labour Legislations with case law, Industrial relations, Personnel Management, Human Resource Management, and related subjects, including Labour Welfare, as a Special subject, of at least 02 years duration from a University of Telangana or recognized by the Government of Telangana. iii) Adequate knowledge of Telugu Language (as per Rule 76(b) of Telangana Factories Rules, 1950).
- JM (Public Relations) – A First-Class MBA/Post Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate Degree in Public Relations/Communication/Mass Communication/Journalism of 2 years from a recognized University/Institute. The following are Equivalent Qualifications in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science/Cyber Security/Chemical/Civil/Business Development/Optics/Finance disciplines which will be considered:

BDL may utilize the subsequent process for candidate selection.
- Written Test (Computer-Based Online Test)
- Interview Exam Centers: Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Trivandrum, and Visakhapatnam Application Fee/Exam Fee for BDL MT:
• General/EWS/OBC (NCL) Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred Rupees) online through SBI e-pay (by Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI, etc.). • SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Internal Permanent Employees are exempted from the Application Fee payment. These candidates should upload their valid Category Certificate (SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Internal Permanent Employees BDL-Identity Card) in the Online Application. Failure to upload a valid Category Certificate will result in the rejection of the online application.
