Eligibility Criteria for CWC AE, JTA & Accountant Positions:

Educational Qualifications (As of 24th September 2023):

1. Assistant Engineer (Civil):

• Educational Qualifications: A Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: Not Required

• Assistant Engineer (Electrical):

• Educational Qualifications: A Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: Not Required

• Accountant:

• Educational Qualifications: B.Com or BA (Commerce) or Chartered Accountant or Costs and Works Accountants or SAS Accountants of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department with approximately three years of experience in Maintaining and auditing accounts in Industrial/Commercial/Departmental Undertakings.
  • Experience: 3 Years

• Superintendent (General):

• Educational Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution
  • Experience: Not Required

• Junior Technical Assistant:

• Educational Qualifications: Degree in Agriculture or a degree with Zoology, Chemistry, or Bio-Chemistry as one of the subjects
  • Experience: Not Required

Age Limit (As of 24th September 2023):

1. Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 30 Years
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – 30 Years
3. Accountant – 30 Years
4. Superintendent (General) – 30 Years
5. Junior Technical Assistant – 28 Years

Note: Age relaxation is applicable for specific categories as per government rules. Refer to the official CWC Notification 2023 for more details.

Salary Details:

1. Assistant Engineer (Civil) – Rs. 40,000-140,000 (E-1)
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – Rs. 40,000-140,000 (E-1)
3. Accountant – Rs. 40,000-140,000 (E-1)
4. Superintendent (General) – Rs. 40,000-140,000 (E-1)
5. Junior Technical Assistant – Rs. 29,000-93,000 (S-V)

Selection Process for CWC AE, JTA & Accountant 2023:

The selection process for CWC may include the following stages:

1. Online Test
2. Document Verification & Interview

Exam Centers in Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Tirunelveli, Vellore

Syllabus & Exam Pattern for CWC AE, JTA & Accountant

Application Fee/Exam Fee for CWC AE, JTA & Accountant:

• Male candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR)/EWS and OBC category – Rs. 1,250/-
• SC, ST, PWD, Ex-Serviceman, and Women candidates – Rs. 400/-

Note: The application fee should be paid online.
