DRDO DYSL-SM is inviting applications for the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Research Fellowship – Mechanical Engineering:

1. Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with First Class and a valid GATE score (OR) M.E./M.Tech. with First Class in Mechatronics/Robotics & Automation/Machine Design/Solid Mechanics, and B.E/B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.
2. Desirable criteria: Working knowledge of finite element packages, CAD, 3D Printing, Composite Materials, basic electronics, and instrumentation.

Age Limit: (As on 24.01.2024) The maximum age limit for JRF is 28 years as of the date of application. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates or as per Govt. guidelines. Applicants from these categories should attach a self-attested caste certificate with the application.

Salary Details:

1. Junior Research Fellowship – Mechanical Engineering: Rs. 37,000/- per month

Selection Process:

DRDO DYSL-SM may follow the following process to select candidates.

1. Walk-in-Interview: Screening of eligible applications will be based on GATE score, marks secured in the degree, fulfillment of desirability criteria, and relevant work experience (if any). The GATE score should be valid as of the interview date in the mentioned subject.

How to Apply:

During the interview, candidates must bring all original certificates and submit the prescribed application form with a recent passport-size photograph affixed on the top right corner of the first page. Additionally, one set of self-attested copies of all Degrees/Academic qualification certificates/Mark Sheets/Experience Certificates, etc., should be submitted. The Application Form can be downloaded from the DRDO website (DRDO website > What’s New). The duly filled application form with supporting documents in PDF format shall be submitted online to the email ID: jifsm2022@gmail.com (below 10MB).
