Position: Commercial Teammate (MSO Reactive)

The role of a Commercial Teammate (MSO Reactive) is to provide support to large merchants, high-value/potential, and/or new sellers in addressing their day-to-day operational challenges through phone, chat, and email.

This involves close collaboration with key partners such as Business Units and Trust teams to ensure sellers maintain their standards and healthy selling practices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day reactive issues through email and chat channels, with outreach via phone if necessary.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and collaboratively within the team.
• Exceed specified targets for turnaround time and delivery quality, paying attention to detail.
• Act as a trusted advisor to sellers and account managers on various issues, including defect review/removal, eMBG case review/auctioning, technical problems, product issues, and policy-related matters.
• Resolve eBay-specific impediments to growth and sales for merchants.
• Coach merchants to proactively address issues and adopt eBay tools and standard processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams for speedy issue resolution.
• Build a trusting relationship with customers and share timely findings with key stakeholders.
• Conduct outreach activities for customer education, policy information, and sustainable business growth.
• Handle escalated complicated cases.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Mandatory graduation.
• Strong probing and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in multi-tasking, flexibility, and quick adaptation to changes.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office, especially PPT and Excel.
• Data interpretation and quality insight understanding is an added advantage.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and a positive attitude.
• Professionalism at all times.
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in customer service/e-commerce/handling email or chat services.
• Availability within UK hours for key stakeholders.
