ECIL Announces 1100 Vacancies for Junior Technician (Grade-II) on Contract: Apply Now!
In a recent development, Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has released a notification inviting applications for the recruitment of Junior Technicians on a contract basis (Grade-II).
The organization is looking to fill a total of 1100 positions through this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online through the official website “www.ecil.co.in” before the deadline, which is set for 16th January 2024 at 4:00 PM.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the Junior Technician position must have successfully completed a 2-year ITI (Industrial Training Institute) program in the trades of Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, or Fitter.
Additionally, applicants should have undergone a one-year apprenticeship and possess a minimum of one year of post-qualification experience in the contract manufacturing of electronic equipment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
Age Limit: As of 16th January 2024, the maximum age limit for Junior Technicians on a contract basis (Grade-II) is set at 30 years.
However, there is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Moreover, individuals belonging to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category, with a minimum disability of 40% or more, are entitled to an additional relaxation of 10 years.
Furthermore, candidates who were ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir between 01/01/1980 and 31/12/1989 are granted a relaxation of 5 years.
Salary Details: Selected candidates for the Junior Technician position will be entitled to a monthly salary of Rs.22,528.
Selection Process: The selection process for these positions is expected to include a shortlisting stage and subsequent verification of documents.
How to Apply: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are required to apply online through the official ECIL website. The online application process will be active from 10th January 2024 (16:00 hrs) to 16th January 2024 (16:00 hrs).
