Educational Qualifications Required:
- Senior Manager (Civil): A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least nine years of executive experience in the construction or maintenance department of a large Fertilizer, Chemical, or Petrochemical plant, or a large engineering/civil construction firm. Of these nine years, the last three should have been spent in E3 grade, earning Rs. 60,000-180,000 (if based on the 2017 IDA scales) or an equivalent or higher grade if working in other establishments.
- Senior Manager (Human Resources & Administration): A two-year postgraduate degree or diploma in HR or Personnel Management or Industrial Relations or Labor Welfare or Social Work (with a specialization in Personnel/HR Management) or Business Administration (with a specialization in Personnel/HR Management) and a minimum of nine years of executive experience in Personnel/HR/Welfare/IR functions in a manufacturing unit/PSU. The last three years should have been spent in E3 grade, earning Rs. 60,000-180,000 (if based on the 2017 IDA scales) or an equivalent or higher grade if working in other establishments. A degree in Law would be preferred additional qualification.
- Officer (Sales): A B.Sc. degree in Agriculture with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Management Trainee (Chemical): A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Petrochemical Engineering or Chemical Technology or Petrochemical Technology with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Management Trainee (Electrical): A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics or Electrical & Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Management Trainee (Instrumentation): A Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Instrumentation & Control or Electronics & Instrumentation or Electrical & Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Management Trainee (Marketing): A two-year postgraduate degree or diploma in Management with a specialization or elective in Marketing Management/Agri Business Management with a minimum of 60% marks.
- To be eligible for the position of Management Trainee (Finance), you must have passed the final examination as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or as a Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)/ (ICWAI) from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India.
- If you want to apply for the role of Technician (Process), you must have either a B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry or a Diploma in Engineering (Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology, including Petrochemical Technology), and two years of experience in operating a large Fertilizer/Chemical/Petrochemical plant. In the absence of enough suitable candidates with the required experience of two years, candidates with the necessary qualification and one to two years of prescribed experience will be considered. SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered for reserved posts, in case there are no candidates with the required experience.
- The position of Technician (Process) Sanitary Inspector requires you to have a Standard X pass with a Diploma in Sanitary Inspector Course from a recognized institution and five years of experience in sanitary administration of industrial establishments/hospitals/Government bodies. Ex-Servicemen having equivalency/trade certificate with the required experience in the field issued by the Armed Forces are eligible to apply. However, such experience in the trade after acquiring Class 1 HASST (from Defence services) will only be considered as relevant experience for the post.
- If you are interested in the role of Craftsman (Fitter Cum Mechanic), you need to have a Standard X pass with a National Trade Certificate in the trade of Fitter/Mechanic and two years of experience in the trade in a large Fertilizer/Chemical/Petrochemical plant or large establishments in the Engineering Industry. In the absence of enough suitable candidates with the required experience of two years, candidates with the necessary qualification and one to two years of prescribed experience will be considered. SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered for reserved posts, in case there are no candidates with the required experience.
- To be eligible for the position of Craftsman (Electrical), you must have a Standard X pass with a National Trade Certificate in the trade of Electrician with Wireman license and two years of experience as an Electrician in a large Fertilizer/Chemical/Petrochemical plant/Electrical Power Generation Plants/Electrical Power Distribution Companies or large establishments in the Engineering Industry. In the absence of enough suitable candidates with the required experience of two years, candidates with the necessary qualification and one to two years of experience will be considered. SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered for reserved posts, in case there are no candidates with the required experience.
- If you want to apply for the role of Craftsman (Instrumentation), you must have a Standard X pass with a National Trade Certificate in the trade of Instrumentation and two years of experience as a Craftsman Instrumentation in a large Fertilizer/Chemical/Petrochemical plant or large establishments in the Engineering Industry. In the absence of enough suitable candidates with the required experience of two years, candidates with the necessary qualification and one to two years of prescribed experience will be considered. SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered for reserved posts, in case there are no candidates with the required experience.
- The position of Rigger Assistant requires you to have a Standard X pass with five years of experience in Materials handling, Rigging jobs, and other works related to plant/equipment/maintenance in a large Fertilizer/Chemical/Petrochemical plant or large establishments in the Engineering Industry. You should also have a good physique and physical stamina.

FACT Technician & MT Selection Process 2023:
Post Codes 1 & 2 -Candidates provisionally short-listed based on the initial screening of applications will be called for Personal Interview to be held at Kochi. Post Code 3 – Based on Test (CBT) and Personal Interview. The test is proposed to be held at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi and Personal Interview will be held at, Kochi.
Post Codes 4 to 8-Based on Test (CBT), Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The test is proposed to be held at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi and Group Discussion / Personal Interview will be held at, Kochi.
Post Codes 9 & 10 – Based on Test (CBT). The test is proposed to be held at Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi.
Post Codes 11 to 13 -Based on Test (CBT) and Skill Test. The test (CBT) is proposed to be held at Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi. Skill Test will be conducted at Kochi.
Post Code 14 – Based on a Practical Test. Candidates if required will be short listed based on test(s) / by adopting such other methods or criteria found suitable at the discretion of the Management. The test(s) will be held at Kochi.
