Educational Qualification:
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF) –
- Minimum 60% marks: Master’s degree in Microbiology / Plant Pathology / Botany with 2 years of research experience in the same field and at least 2 research papers in National & International Journals.
- Desirable Qualification: Working research experience in Microbiology, Pathology; Exposure to maintenance of fungal culture; Knowledge of computers and exposure to multivariate statistical analysis software.
- Young Professional II –
- M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Plant Pathology.
- Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree in any relevant field preferred; Knowledge of computers and data handling; Exposure to statistical analysis and microbiological techniques.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) –
- Minimum 60% marks: Master’s degree in Microbiology / Plant Pathology / Botany.
- Desirable Qualification: Working research experience in Microbiology, Pathology; Exposure to maintenance of fungal culture; Knowledge of computers and exposure to multivariate statistical analysis software.
- Project Assistant-I –
- Graduate degree in basic science (Life Sciences) or a 3-year diploma in Engineering and technology (As per SERB Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SB/S9/Z-07/2020 dated 25-08-2020).
- Desirable: Experience in handling fungi and basic molecular microbiology.
- Unskilled labor –
- 12th pass or having 3 years of experience working in a laboratory.
- Desirable Qualification: Experience desired in agricultural operations and laboratory.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years old, with age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC, applicable as per Govt. of India/ICAR Rules.
Salary Details:
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – Rs. 31,000/- + 27% HRA per month
- Young Professional II – Rs. 42,000/- (Consolidated)
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA per month
- Project Assistant-I – Rs. 20,000 + 24% HRA
- Unskilled labor – Rs. 15,000/- (Fixed)
