ICF Chennai Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Ex-ITI
- Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: Applicants must have passed 10th standard (with a minimum of 50% marks) with Science and Maths under the 10+2 system or its equivalent. They should also possess a National Trade Certificate in the respective trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training, with a duration of one year or more.
- Carpenter, Painter & Welder: Candidates should have passed 10th standard (with a minimum of 50% marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent. Additionally, they must hold a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training, with a duration of one year or more.
- Programming and System Admin. Asst.: Aspirants need to have passed 10th standard (with a minimum of 50% marks) and possess a National Trade certificate in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training, with a duration of one year or more.
Fresher’s
- Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: Candidates should have passed 10th standard (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Maths under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- Carpenter & Painter: Applicants must have passed 10th standard (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- Welder: Candidates should have passed 10th standard (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- MLT (Radiology & Pathology): Candidates must have passed the 12th examination under the 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Note:
(i) Candidates with qualifications such as Engineering Degree/Diploma and Course Completed Act Apprentices are not eligible to apply.
(ii) This notification is solely for providing Apprenticeship training and not for employment.
Age Limit: (As of 30.06.2023)
Ex-ITI Apprentices: 15 to 24 years.
Fresher’s Apprentices: 15 to 24 years.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Salary Details:
- Fresher’s – School pass-outs (class 10th): Rs. 6000/- per month.
- Fresher’s – School pass-outs (class 12th): Rs. 7000/- per month.
- Ex-ITI – National or State certificate holder: Rs. 7000/- per month.
ICF Chennai Apprentice Selection Process 2023:
ICF Chennai will follow the following process to select the candidates.

All communication from ICF administration will be sent by SMS or email only, and the select/eligible list will be uploaded on the ICF web portal
Application Fee/Exam Fee for ICF Chennai Apprentice:
A processing fee of ₹100/- plus service charges as applicable (non-refundable) is to be paid through online mode. SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
