Position: Associate Relationship Manager
Location: India
Business Unit: Retail Banking – Rural Banking
Function: Rural Sales
Job Purpose:
The Associate Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in strengthening relationships with Rural Banking accounts and delivering exceptional service to customers.
The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Relationship Manager in identifying potential customers and converting them into valuable business opportunities.
They are also tasked with creating Joint Liability Groups and centers, managing them throughout the entire process of formation, disbursal, and collection.
Additionally, the Associate Relationship Manager is responsible for driving client acquisition, cultivating customer relationships at the household level, and maximizing lifetime value in each relationship.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Zone management to assess household needs in designated villages and areas
- Perform post-disbursal checks to ensure loan compliance and achieve monthly and annual group loan booking targets
- Evaluate client requirements and identify cross-selling opportunities based on their lifestyle, risk profile, and needs
- Contribute to expanding liabilities business in Rural markets through lead generation and account opening
- Meet individual and branch sales targets through new business sales, referrals, and account retention
- Maintain a high level of collections efficiency through discipline and motivation
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of loans and savings accounts
- Coordinate with operations officer to ensure prompt and accurate data entry
- Ensure compliance with bank requirements and regulations
- Conduct field audits and customer verifications to ensure account quality
- Gather market intelligence, track industry trends, and benchmark against competitor banks
- Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality across the branch network
- Provide support for implementing livelihood advancement and community development initiatives
