Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT):
Educational Qualification:
- For Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT): Candidates should have passed 10+2 and possess a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English and 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
Age Limit:
- For Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT): Candidates should be between 18-27 years of age as on 31.03.2023.
- The upper age limit is Relaxable for SC/ST by 5 years, for OBC by 3 years, for Persons with Disabilities by 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.
Salary Details:
- For Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT): Rs. 19900-63200 (Level 02 of 7th CPC)
Selection Process:
- IGNOU will conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a Skill Test/Typing Test to select candidates.
Exam Centers in Tamil Nadu:
- Chennai and Coimbatore
Application Fee/Exam Fee:
- Unreserved (UR), OBC (NCL) & EWS candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/-.
- SC, ST, and Female candidates have to pay Rs. 600/-.
