Eligibility Criteria for CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee:
Ship Draftsman Trainee (Mechanical):
To be eligible for the Ship Draftsman Trainee (Mechanical) position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Pass in SSLC
- Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks
- Proficiency in CAD and flair for Draftsmanship
Ship Draftsman Trainee (Electrical):
To be eligible for the Ship Draftsman Trainee (Electrical) position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Pass in SSLC
- Three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks
- Proficiency in CAD and flair for Draftsmanship
Age Limit:
- The maximum age limit for the positions is 25 years as of 19 April 2023 (born on or after 20 April 1998).
- Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC candidates is applicable.
- Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) is as per Government of India guidelines.
Stipend:
Ship Draftsman Trainee (Mechanical) and Ship Draftsman Trainee (Electrical) will receive the following stipend:
- First Year: Rs.12600/-
- Second Year: Rs.13800/-
- Compensation for Extra Hours of Work (per month): Rs.4450/-
CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee Selection Process 2023:
The selection process for CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee will be conducted in the following phases:
- Phase I – Objective type online test
- Phase II – Practical Test
- Certificate Verification
Application Fee/Exam Fee for CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee:
- Applicants must pay an application fee of ₹ 600/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) using online payment options.
- SC/ST/PwBD applicants are exempt from paying the application fee.
- The application fee must be paid by all other applicants.
