Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Deputy Registrar:
- Essential Educational Qualification: A postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent.
- Desirable Educational Qualification: Professional qualification in the area of Management/Law.
- Essential Experience: 5 years of administrative experience in PB-3 with a Grade Pay of 5400/-(Level 10 in 7th CPC) or its equivalent grade in Government/PSU/Government Research Establishments/Universities/Statutory Organizations.
- Desirable Experience: i) Experience in handling Administrative/Legal/Finance/Stores & Purchase/Establishments matters. ii) Working experience in an ERP-enabled work environment in Administration and Finance.
- Age Limit (As on 12.01.2024): Deputy Registrar – 50 years. Candidates’ Relaxation in the Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to the IISc Bangalore official Notification 2024 for more details.
Salary Details:
- Deputy Registrar – PB – 3 (15,600 – 39,100) with Grade Pay of 7600/- (Level-12 in 7th CPC)
Selection Process: Selection for the post of Deputy Registrar will be based on a written test followed by a group discussion and interview. However, the final selection will be solely based on the interview.
