Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: i) A certificate in the respective trade from any Technical Institution recognized by the Government OR VIII Std. Passed with one year of experience in the respective trade. ii) Candidates applying for the Motor Vehicle Mechanic post should have a valid Driving License (HMV) to drive any service vehicle for testing purposes.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as of 01.07.2023. Age relaxations are applicable – 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and up to 40 years for Government servants. Ex-servicemen are eligible for a maximum age relaxation of 3 years (8 years for SC/ST and 6 years for OBC) after deducting military service from the actual age.
Salary Details: Motor Vehicle Mechanic (Skilled Artisan Grade-III) – Rs.19,900/- to Rs.63,200/- (Level-2 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC)
