MRPL is inviting applications for the following positions:

1. Assistant Engineer (Fire): 2 posts
2. Assistant Executive (Secretarial): 1 post
3. Manager (Safety): 1 post
Total: 4 posts

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: (As of 10.02.2024)

1. Assistant Engineer (Fire):
   Minimum essential Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Fire/Fire and Safety.
2. Assistant Executive (Secretarial):
   Minimum essential Educational Qualification: Associate Membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
3. Manager (Safety):
   Minimum essential Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Industrial Safety (with a minimum of 60% marks) as per Factories Act 1948 and Karnataka Factories Rules 1969. Candidates must fulfill the provisions stipulated in the Factories Act 1948 and Rule 88A of the Karnataka Factories Rules 1969.
   Minimum essential post-qualification work experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification industrial experience in supervisory capacity in the relevant field in Refinery/Petrochemicals/Continuous Process Industries. Candidates applying from Government/Public Sector must have a minimum of one year experience in the next lower pay scale, i.e., should be working in one scale of pay below the post applied for (IDA pay scale of Rs. 70,000-200,000). This will not be applicable to candidates working in Government/CPSE in the same pay scale or above than the post applied for.

Age Limit: (As of 10.02.2024)

1. Assistant Engineer (Fire): Maximum 27 years for Unreserved (UR) category candidates and maximum 30 years for OBC (NCL).
2. Assistant Executive (Secretarial): Maximum 30 years for OBC (NCL) category candidates for the post of Assistant Executive (Secretarial) in E2 grade.
3. Manager (Safety): Maximum 40 years for Unreserved (UR) category candidates for the post of Manager (Safety) in C grade.
   Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to the MRPL official Notification 2024 for more reference.

Salary Details:

1. Assistant Engineer (Fire): Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000/-
2. Assistant Executive (Secretarial): Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000/-
3. Manager (Safety): Rs. 80,000- 2,20,000/-

Selection Process:

MRPL may follow the subsequent process to select candidates:

1. Written Test
2. Group Discussion and Personal Interview

Application Fee:

a) General, OBC (including non-creamy layer), and EWS category candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 118/- (Rs. 100 application fee plus Rs. 18 GST) while applying online. Any additional charges (like bank service charges, etc.) have to be borne by the applicant.

b) SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman categories are exempted from the payment of Application Fee.

Candidates fulfilling all the above criteria should apply online through the link on the MRPL website in the careers webpage under the current openings section, i.e., from 12.01.2024 to 10.02.2024. No other mode of application will be accepted.
