- Project Data Entry Operator (Grade- C)
The essential educational qualification for a Project Data Entry Operator is a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application/ IT/ Computer Science from a recognized institution or university. In addition, candidates must pass a speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through a speed test on a computer. A Typing certificate in English Lower/Higher issued by State Government is desirable.
Data entry is a crucial aspect of many projects, and the role of a Project Data Entry Operator is to maintain an accurate and up-to-date database. The job requires proficiency in computer software and typing skills.
- Project Lower Division Clerk
A Project Lower Division Clerk must have completed 12th grade or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates must also pass a speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through a speed test on a computer. Good written and oral communication skills in English and advanced computer knowledge are desirable.
The Project Lower Division Clerk’s job is to assist in administrative tasks and maintain records. Strong communication skills are essential as they will be required to communicate with various stakeholders.
- Project Scientist B (Laboratory/Non-Medical)
For the role of Project Scientist B (Laboratory/Non-Medical), candidates must possess a First-class Master’s degree in Microbiology/Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences from a recognized university with two years of R&D/ teaching experience in the relevant subject or a Second-class Master’s degree in Microbiology/Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences from a recognized university with a Ph.D. in Microbiology/Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences from a recognized University.
A Doctoral degree/Post-doctoral experience in Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Infectious diseases, previous experience in AMR research (field-based and bench work), and working knowledge of bioinformatic tools for microbial identification/characterization/genetic relatedness are desirable.
Project Scientist B is responsible for conducting research and development projects in a laboratory environment. Strong knowledge and experience in the field of microbiology are essential for this role.
- Project Technical Assistant (Lab)
For the position of Project Technical Assistant (Lab), candidates must have a graduate degree in Microbiology/Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized university with 3 years of work experience from a recognized institution/university or a Masters in Microbiology/Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution/university.
Hands-on experience in clinical microbiological techniques as evidenced from work experience in recognized diagnostic/hospital/medical research institutions, experience in performing molecular techniques viz. nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and working knowledge of MS Office applications are desirable.
Project Technical Assistant (Lab) is responsible for carrying out laboratory experiments, conducting quality control tests, and recording and analyzing data. Strong knowledge and experience in microbiological techniques are essential for this role.
- The position of Project Technical Assistant (Lab) requires a candidate to have a graduate degree in Microbiology or Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized university, along with three years of work experience from a recognized institution or university. Alternatively, a master’s degree in Microbiology or Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution or university is also acceptable. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in clinical microbiological techniques, as evidenced by their work experience in a recognized diagnostic, hospital, medical research institution, or NABL accredited laboratory. Additionally, working knowledge of MS Office applications is desirable.
- For the position of Project Technical Assistant (Field), the candidate should have a graduate degree in Social Science or Social Work from a recognized university, along with three years of work experience in health research or healthcare settings from a recognized institution or university. Alternatively, a master’s degree in Social Science or Social Work from a recognized institution or university is also acceptable. The ideal candidate should have experience in field-based health research studies and working knowledge of MS Office applications. Proficiency in Tamil to interact with community participants is also desirable.
- The position of Project Junior Nurse requires the candidate to have a high school or equivalent education with a science subject, along with a certificate course in ANM and five years of experience in a recognized institute or center. A diploma in nursing (GNM) is desirable. The ideal candidate should also have experience in conducting interviews, performing clinical examinations, blood/swab collection as part of hospital or field-based health research projects, and proficiency in Tamil to interact with community participants.
- To be considered for the position of Project Technician III (Lab), the candidate should have passed 12th grade in science subjects or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution and hold a two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or a one-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology plus one year of laboratory experience in a recognized organization. A B.Sc degree in Medical Laboratory Technology shall be treated as three years of experience. The ideal candidate should have work experience in a clinical microbiology/diagnostic laboratory at a recognized Teaching Hospital, Medical Research Institution, or NABL-accredited laboratory. Additionally, working knowledge of MS Office applications is desirable.
- The Multi-Tasking Staff (Field) position requires the candidate to have a high school or equivalent education, and proficiency in Tamil to interact with community participants is desirable.

- Ability to ensure best practices in the data management component of the project
- Project Administrative Assistant (Project Officer):
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Five years of experience in Administration/Finance and Accounts work
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution
- Five years of experience in project management work
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of computer applications for word processing, making presentations, and using spreadsheets
