1. Educational Qualification:

1. Project Assistant (Post Code APTD-1): Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology from a recognized University or Equivalent.
2. Project Associate- I (Post Code APTD-2): Master’s Degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from a recognized University or Equivalent. Desirable: CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified.

2. Age Limit: (As on 22.01.2024)

2. Project Assistant (Post Code APTD-1): 50 Years
3. Project Associate- I (Post Code APTD-2): 35 Years Candidates will receive age relaxation as per Government rules.

Salary Details:

1. Project Assistant (Post Code APTD-1): Rs.20,000 + 18% HRA
2. Project Associate- I (Post Code APTD-2):

2. Rs.31,000 + 18% HRA for those with valid CSIR-UGC NET or GATE score.
3. Rs.25,000 + 18% HRA for those without the above qualifications.

Selection Process: NIIST will conduct a two-step selection process involving shortlisting and an online interview.
