Applications are invited by ICMR-NIRT for the following positions:

1. | Project Technical Officer (Medical Social Worker) | 01

3. | Project Technician III (Lab Technician) | 01
4. | Project Data Entry Operator Grade A | 02 Total | | 08

Eligibility Criteria for ICMR-NIRT Project Technicians:

Educational Qualifications:

1. Project Technical Officer (Medical Social Worker):

• Essential Qualification: Graduation in Social Science/Social Work/Sociology/Medical Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology from a recognized university, along with five years of work experience from a recognized institution OR Master’s degree in Social Science/Social Work/Sociology/Medical Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology.
  • Desirable Qualifications:

• Research experienceProficiency in computer applications

• Project Technician III (Field Worker):

• Essential Qualification: 12th Pass in science subjects and one of the following:

• Two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or PMWOne year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization.Two years field/laboratory experience* in a Government-recognized organization.*B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years of experience.

• Project Technician III (Lab Technician):

• Essential Qualification: 12th Pass in science subjects and one of the following:

• Two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or PMWOne year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization.Two years field/laboratory experience* in a Government-recognized organization.*B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years of experience.

• Project Data Entry Operator Grade A:

• Essential Qualification: Intermediate or 12th Pass from a recognized board, with a typing speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through a computer speed test.

Age Limit:

1. Project Technical Officer (Medical Social Worker) – Not exceeding 30 years.
2. Project Technician III (Field Worker) – Not exceeding 30 years.
3. Project Technician III (Lab Technician) – Not exceeding 30 years.
4. Project Data Entry Operator Grade A – Not exceeding 25 years.

Upper age limits are relaxed as follows:

• 5 years for SC/ST
• 3 years for OBC
• 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s)
• As per Government of India rules for Ex-Servicemen

Salary Details:

1. Project Technical Officer (Medical Social Worker) – Rs. 32,000/- per month.
2. Project Technician III (Field Worker) – Rs. 18,000/- per month.
3. Project Technician III (Lab Technician) – Rs. 18,000/- per month.
4. Project Data Entry Operator Grade A – Rs. 17,000/- per month.

ICMR-NIRT Project Technician Selection Process 2023:

The selection process may include:

1. Walk-in written test.
2. Interview.

Interested and eligible candidates with the specified essential qualifications should appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the Institute. Please bring all original and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials, a valid identity proof (Voter ID card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card), and one passport-sized photograph. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the interview without the original certificates.
