NPCIL Recruitment 2023 NPCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2023: Job Notification and Application Process The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is accepting applications for the recruitment of Trade Apprentices for the year 2023. Interested candidates can apply for these apprentice positions under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended periodically. The apprenticeships will be offered at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, located in Kudankulam PO, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, with the postal code 627106.

NPCIL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the NPCIL Apprentice program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification: (As of 31.07.2023)
- Fitter – Passed the 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in Fitter Trade.
- Machinist – Passed the 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in Machinist Trade.
- Welder (Gas & Electric) – Passed the 8th class examination from a recognized school and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in Welder Trade.
- Electrician – Passed the 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in Electrician Trade.
- Electronic Mechanic – Passed the 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in Electronics Mechanic Trade.
- Pump Operator cum Mechanic – Passed the 10th class examination with Science under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in Pump Operator cum Mechanic Trade or Pump Mechanic Trade.
- Instrument Mechanic – Passed the 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in Instrument Mechanic Trade.
- Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Passed the 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade.
Age Limit: (As of 31.07.2023)
- The minimum age should not be less than 14 years on the closing date of the application.
- The maximum age limit is 24 years for General Candidates and EWS Candidates.
- The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates can refer to the official NPCIL Notification 2023 for more information.
Stipend Amount:
- Candidates who have completed a 2-year ITI course will receive a stipend of Rs. 8855/-.
- Candidates who have completed a 1-year ITI course will receive a stipend of Rs. 7700/-.
NPCIL Apprentice Selection Process 2023:
NPCIL will conduct the following process to select candidates:

How to Apply for NPCIL Apprentice Post:
- Interested and eligible candidates must first register on the web portal for engagement as Apprentices. Applications will not be accepted without registration on the above web portal.
- Candidates should have scanned copies of the following documents ready before starting the registration process:
- Passport size color photograph
- Qualification certificate (Matriculation / 10th Class)
- Technical Qualification certificate (ITI All Semester Mark sheet / NTC)
- Date of Birth certificate (10th Class Certificate / Certificate issued by the municipality, etc.)
- Candidate’s signature
- After successful registration on the web portal mentioned above, candidates must apply for the respective trade through the web portal to Establishment Registration No. E05203300798, i.e., NPCIL, KKNPP.
- Upon completion of online registration, candidates are required to fill in the hard copy of the application enclosed with the advertisement. The filled-in applications, along with self-attested copies of the following documents, should be sent by post (Speed/Registered) or courier to “Senior Manager (HR), HR Section, Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, Kudankulam PO, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District-627106”.
